I would strongly advise against adding any new fish. The dottyback and sixline are going to make adding any new fish, especially something as docile as a firefish, difficult.

If you are planning on a larger tank, just wait to add fish once it is up.

I'm all for overstocking fish tanks, busy tanks look great. But crowded tanks don't work well for all fish. Clowns, dottybacks, and sixlines are difficult to have in crowded tanks.

I do t know about others here but when I "upgraded" from the biocube to my 90 I kept the biocube going. Once I got the 90 I wanted to add different fish so not one transfer from the cube. I did not intend on 2 tanks but........ now I have 2 tanks:)

Agree

The thing is you have:
a dotty back known for aggression,
a six line wrasse known to get aggressive towards new tank mates, and a pair of clowns who will get territorial when you they are sexually mature and start laying eggs,
and you want to add a firefish which is a timid fish so I would be doubtful about that. And a coral beauty needs a larger tank.

Maybe, @evolved could recommend a fish that would fit your tank and current livestock..

Do you have a top on your tank?

Well I put the dottyback to start my tank up and put the other fish after a month and the dottyback didn't bully the new tank mates so I will call him not aggressive. And no I don't have a top on my tank but I am planning on putting a top on my tank when I get a firefish.

Well, at least if your fish are still with us in 6months it will be a testament of the resiliencey of these creatures, rather than an endorsement of the care they received...

You've received excellent advise from very experienced members.

My feeling is that Marine Ich is likely to rear it's ugly head in your tank secondary to the stress of overcrowding.

Unfortunate for some of us we learned the lesson of overstocking when there were no forums to advise us, you have the benefit of the internet. Fish mature and behave more territorial as the years go by, I am fairly confident that you'll need to upgrade to a larger tank to maintain the health and well being of your fish.

Well any fish u guys recommend for a 20g??
Not with what you currently have in the tank... A 20g is not really going to allow you to keep a lot of fish. Especially with aggressive fish in the tank.
I'd go ahead and put a top on now, you are likely to see aggression issues pop up as the fish mature and any fish can jump especially when being chased.
If you have some fish that are on a must have list, I'd would draft your list and ask for advice to plan an upgrade, or second tank to allow for more fish. By planning a new setup around your desired stocking you can set yourself up for success.

And that is really what we all want for you is to be successful in your endeavors.

Happy reefing.

Your gonna do what you want to do but I do believe you can add the purple firefish then just dont add anymore.

To fully understand have you and a friend get into a closet then stay in there for a week together have someone bring you food and water only come out to use the bathroom on a time limit. Then after the week is up you'll understand more what others have said

Guys y'all right the neon dottyback is a bully to the new fish I got. He almost killed my purple firefish. But it's all good now I caught him in matter of minutes, very easy with my diy magical trapped. Sorry guys! But now they all going to live happy and healthy.
