Hi Ian, Nice to see a fellow (or at least former) planted-tank guy rocking the reefs.

A million people have already told you the corals are nice (I agree... awesome stuff, I especially like the fungias :) ). but if I may say so, lots and lots of individually nice corals do not a nice tank make. The tank as a whole isn't very interesting; I'd even that it's busy and confusing... very crowded, each piece specifically placed like a farmer... So, if you want a question: whence the aesthetics? whence the aquascape? Maybe I still don't (and will never?) 'get' the aesthetics most reef-folks are into. This may be my shortcoming, not yours. Regardless, I hope you take this comment in the spirit of constructive criticism.

I do understand where you are coming from. All the pieces layed out on the rock work I feel were given ample room to grow. I did not want to have the coral look cluttered on my rock work where they would be permanently. The chalices/favias on the floor of the tank are there out of necessity. I have all of these nice sized pieces and not enough room to place them. I would like to give them more room however I don't have the space. This is where my next tank comes into play.

Awe-inspiring! One of the most colorful tanks I've ever seen. Thank you for showing people just how good T5's CAN be. (says the guy with 2,000 watts of T5's running)

Thanks nicks387 and CaneinBatonRouge.

Bob 2000w of T5s? How big of a tank do you have and how many bulbs do you have running it?
