I've recently acquired a Tiffen 12 yellow filter for my macro lens and would like to start taking actinic luminescence photographs of my sps corals. However, I'm not sure what light settings to use to get the corals to glow while still allowing enough light into my camera. I tried pulling blue, royal blue, UV and purple to max at 100% intensity, but photos still came out totally black. Should I be turning up the other channels as well? Which channels and how much?

Thanks!

It a camera guru but would that be more an exposure setting.
