They are excellent lights for zoas. I have many colonies growing nicely.I saw the 360x they look nice as well. How do they do with zoas?
the biggest thing ive seen from gen5 is the lack of cone and almost straight down light. Do you see that or run it with a diffuser?I have a pair of Gen5 XR15's and love them. Its only been about 6 weeks but SPS are growing great and colored up nicely under them. The few zoas that I have are doing well.

why so high on the back of the tank? youd think it would be middle/middle-back
Unique corals uses them too. I read somewhere that corals dont do well long trem under leds. I know tidal garden used to use t5's and I think I am going with a hybrid when I upgrade but I have a bowfront and they wont fit plus worried about generating to much heat living in florida and my tank maintains 78 with no heat and right now I have a tiny temporary led thats for a nano on it.Thanks for the replies. I'm going to go with the Radions. One thing I noticed, most of the coral farms and online vendors list in their description that most of the corals are kept under Radions, so this should be a safe way for me to go. I just saw a video on Tidal Gardens' new building and it's all lit with Radions. Also, I saw Jason Fox is starting to incorporate Radions on some of his new builds.
