I got these Blastos about 4 months ago. They almost died on me twice so far. I'm not sure whats going on with them but every other month they start to look bad. I move them, target feed a bit and they look fantastic again. There is 6 adult heads and 7 babies. My FAVORITE Blastos.

Yup, here ya go. I cant get them all in 1 shot, as some grow on the other side. I think i paid 80 bucks for the piece. I love blastos but man are they expensive.

Awesome looking blastos! I love mine. Their not quite as colorful as yours, I got the neon green and purple. I need to get my hands on some of those. Happy reefing. Joe

I absolutely love these, they're gorgeous!

If you ever get them stabilized and growing enough for fragging, I'd love to either trade or buy just a couple of heads from you. I have a tank thread in the propagation forum if you want to see some of the stuff I have.

I have a tank that I'm getting going again right now that I'm populating with nice mushrooms, ricordea, some zoas, just some really nice lower-light type stuff including blasto's.

I've noticed my blastos are my indicator corals. If the salinity or alkalinity swings a little, they are the first to show me it's time to test params. They also don't like much light in my care.

Hope they continue to do well, keep us updated!

It may be my pc monitor, but they look kinda bleached out. Blastos usually loose their color if they arent happy.
If not they look sweet!

I'm not sure. That's how they looked when they came in. There has since been frags of these same exact blasto that came to the store. They all look like these.
