Woke up yesterday morning with my BTA split. Its had white spots ever since I ran a 3 day blackout for Dino's about 1 week ago. I have slowly ramped up light intensity after the black out.

Are these 2 indicative of stress? Bacterial infection? Something else?

In general the water quality is good, although my alkalinity was low the night before the split so I had dosed Seachem 2 part.

I had never seen those white spots before, and the fact that it split led me to believe it maybe be unhappy or something worse. I'll keep an eye on it and hopefully it's the normal progression in it's life cycle.
