I have a big and heavy Plizon (Vivispectra) LED light fixture, and I want to fix it up with a ramp timer. I need something that works like a regular timer for any appliance, only with the ramp function. Anyone know of something like this?

If this function is not built into the fixture on the PCB board i dont think its possible for an external timer to be able to do that.
The power cable supplies power and the internal controls control the LED array seperately.

Generally speaking that is not the way to do this .



First let me state that in NO way do I recommend doing it.
See the dim/ramp would normally be controlled by the internal driver.

Some but NONE with this particular light (that I'm aware of) have used things like smart dimmers which plug into the AC side.
It has worked.. maybe..
Why maybe? Because I am unaware of the long term effects of "blinking" the AC side so as to "dim" the internal drivers (and in this case fans).

See what it effectively does (in my opinion) is shut the light on and off frequently, like 500Hz making it appear dim.
