Random shrimp

Just found this little guy in my sump. I had a pistol shrimp in my DT about four months ago but he lasted all of twenty minutes until my melanarus wrasse made quick work of him. No idea where this guy came from and haven’t been able to find any reference photos of a blue striped pistol shrimp. The photo doesn’t show the stripe color well. It has royal blue stripes, not gray as shown in the image.

Looks like a tiger pistol shrimp.pair him up with a yellow watchman goby the same size as him and they’ll be best buds.

You're right. This does seem to look similar to pictures of tiger pistol shrimp. I just have no idea how he got in there...
