I am curiously searching rare softies. They are not advertised as well as you would think! I can locate rare zoas, sps, Lps, nps...but rare softies are seeming to want to avoid my grasp! Im not lookin to buy just looking for species. :)

Such a broad category. Anything in particular like mushrroms, leathers, glove polyps?

I'm trying to compile a list of as many rare softies as possible. Around here we have such limited access that i don't even know what I do not know!

As long as it has no skeleton it is fair game

Im thinking stuff that gets sold before it even makes it inland! Im sure there are corals in Florida or California that are just not available to the whole country.

I have an orange cauliflower coral. Does that count as rare? I'd never seen one in the US, but I picked it up at an LFS in Quebec Canada. It's NPS and VERY orange (think dendro orange). I don't know if it's rare or just rare-to-me. :)

That's awesome!!! Rare here for sure. At least in the corn state! (One of them)

Nephthea isn't all that common, and the true palau version isn't available in the wild anymore. Of course around here it's fairly common since I've got a large colony.
