I’ll see if I can get something w Acriflavine. Thx!!! No point coming this far and not going further right? BAHAHAHAHA
I was worried about Brook. Uro not so much because I though copper and cp were options? I want to get a couple of clowns but am reluctant because of Brook. Would feel much better if I had ruby reef rally on hand. Read some good things about it

Ah, I completely skimmed over the CP... you should be all set then! Just for reference copper doesn’t treat brook, but if you have CP (as long as the fish isn’t intolerant) you should be ok[emoji1362] for the fish that can’t be treated with CP my above suggestion should handle it. No need to spend a small fortune getting it, unless it is miraculously readily available.

Awesome ok. Don’t know where I got copper from in my head? I was probably thinking cp. before coming on here and learning about chloroquine Phosphate, I used to refer to chelated copper as cp. might have gotten them mixed up somehow. Note to self: be careful when using cp vs copper lol

Okay guys. It’s been a battle and a half but I finally got my final shipment of all the meds I ordered. I couldn’t get my hands on the name brands but I got the active ingredients (ie instead of PraziPro, I was able to get praziquantel and so on).

Do you think I have all my basis covered or am I missing something? I tried everything and I can’t get Formalin :(

Also, anyone have experience w these active ingredients instead of name brands? Any tips would be much appreciated.

The Big Guns
  • Methylene Blue
  • NFG
  • General Trio (combo of active ingredients in Kanaplex, Metroplex, and Furan-2) which is an all in one trifecta. I was not able to get these individually.
  • Cupramine
  • Chloroquine Phosphate
  • General parasite cure which has active ingredients found in API General Cure
  • Praziquantel
  • Focus
  • Prime
The little guns
  • Melafix
  • Pimafix
  • Paraguard
Plus vitamins, garlic guard, and vitamin enriched foods.

Thx all :)

What is NFG

nitrofuracin green

Cut and paste from website where I got it:

Nitrofuracin Green is a blend of Nitrofurazone, Sulfathiazole Sodium, Methylene Blue and Sodium Chloride. This combination is an excellent general treatment. Perfect to use as a preventative with new arrivals while in quarantine. And can be used to prevent ammonia burns while in the shipping bags when fish are properly conditioned for shipment.

Nitrofuracin Green is a wide spectrum product that can treat anti-microbial, anti-protozoa, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal ailments. Helps to heal open wounds and ammonia burn. Widely used to treat shipping water too.

Treatment:

Disease: 1/4 teaspoon per 20 gallons, dosed daily after a 25% water change. Continue treatment for 10-14 days.

Preparing Shipping Water: Add just a few grains to dechlorinated/tank water. You want the water to be a light green color.

Pond dosing: 50 grams per 800 gallons. Dosed weekly for 2 weeks.

That’s on beck a medicine cabinet you’ve got there .
Actually , I used to own a full line pet store.
Im in touch with many and have bought out a store remaining inventory or entire contents of tanks and kept some for myself, hence the small inventory. I have another shelf of chemicals.
