I’m going to buy a Colorado sunburst anenome from another hobbyist who had a booth at a local show and was wanted to make sure this is a real csb, he said that it’s the original ky island lineage but does not have proof of lineage

It just comes down to trust. There's no real way to prove lineage. That said, if you're in SoCal, CSBs are so prevalent there, I can't see why it wouldn't be a true CSB.
Thanks for the help and I’ll definitely look for marbling when I see it in person

Is this Sam? I think he only sells gonis and CSB
yeah it is! I talked to him more Abt the nems and he gave me a full history of his and I confirmed that they a real and I'm going to pick one up from him Saturday

Update on the csb, I’m picking it up today and got to see the marbled foot which has to be the most I’ve ever seen on one

Cut CSBs sometimes have a row of short tentacles at the cut point and the mouth of off center. But once they fully heal, it's almost impossible to tell if it was cut or a natural split.

CSBs have some of the best colors of all anemones, yours is no exception. Nice pick up.

No im near Sf but will consider the trip if I cant source one locally. I have some family in Huntington, I can egg their house on the way out.

In person his nems are amazing mine glows onto the rocks around it, plus he sells them at a big size for their pricing

One thing I should tell you and he probably will too if you ask about the care is that his are a low to lower moderate lighting, contrary to others like sang lee
