Well, that was weird. But you can see the unedited, washed-out photo. And there is another coral that I put in there. That is a before shot. I don't have one of how it looks now. I got to do that tomorrow or so.
This is a test. Only a test. Likely to be taken down shortly. Photo from phone to thread via R2R app.

I attest. Leave it up
LOL! Thanks, but the colors aren't matching up with what I see on the phone or in real life. Things just look washed out. I see other's photos and they look as stunning as mine on my phone or computer but when I post them up... washed out, pale and not at all vibrant. Any tips on what I am doing wrong?

Very nice! What is the bottom acro in post 121? It's got some funky corallites... I like it!
That is a really good question. I have no idea what type of acros I have. I just know they are SPS's. Sure does look considerably more stunning in person. For some reason when I post my photos they display very washed out here on R2R. Posting anywhere else on the web they are accurately displayed. I am stumped.

I think the forum "condenses" photos... I use tapatalk, so I usually just pick the "best quality" to keep the highest resolution.

Just an update to the build thread. It's time to put a whole tank photo up. Still going strong with standard nuisance issues but easily manageable.

One thing that I noticed that I didn't update here. I have added lighting to my tank. Both are unnecessary but since the SBReef lights do not dim down to 0% I added two Illumagic BlazeX Mini's. These will ramp down from/to 0% and got a rockin' deal for both. The tank now ramps up and down from 0% light. I also added OR bars to add UV and blue to help coral color and visual pop to the tank.

Lights at dusk this evening...
Just because I'm feeling blue...

Love watching the reef go to sleep and the pink from the fuge creep up like a sunset. Hope all is blue only temporarily. Cheers.
