So I have being using them for 4 years now, this last batch barely dissolves like the past ones did. Did any of you have similar experience using them?

this is 2 month of use with ph of 6.3 usually it would be half used up, I'm only about 20% used up.

it doesn't keep up with calcium, alk is ok, but not calcium, i have to keep adding cal separately

Have you recalibrated your PH probe? How old is it as well? Its possible its reading low

When I had one I used Carib-Sea crushed coral, it was what Marine Technical Concepts recommended.

calibration is a possibility, I think its being about a year since I calibrate it. I think ill drop to 6.2 for now and see if it helps.

I run the new stuff and it works well. I don't use a ph probe or controller. System is 9 months and it maintains alk and ca. The 818 is big for my 150 so I won't see a big drop in the reactor until the corals are bigger.

Yes Reborn. That is a sulfer reactor for no3 control. Very simple to run with a Kamoer pump. It can take no3 as low as you want and maintain it.
