Interesting skimmer behavior with recirculating CO2 scrubber. I just setup my recirculating CO2 scrubber for a week and I noticed that the water level in the skimmer changes during the day and night. During the day the water level is above the neck and a third of the way up the cup producing my desired wetness of skimmate. But after lights out, it slowly drops, and it eventually reaches below the cup, below the neck, and ends up about an inch below the neck. This is maybe a 5 inch difference from lights on and lights off. The neck water level prior to the scrubber was consistent all day long, so I'm confused why this is happening. It now creates super dry foam at night and wet during the day.
