So I decided to add an icecap small scrubber. PH is on the rise already. I have a solenoid inline controller by the apex of ph hits 8.4 solenoid will cycle open when ph hits 8.4, then at 8.1 solenoid closes drawing air from skimmer. Hope this works. Excuse the mess under the cabinet, this weekend everything is getting moved to a panel and a separate cabinet.

It looks fairly reasonable, why allow the swing to be so large? Why not have it between 8.35 and 8.4?

So I am new at installing a CO2 scrubber (just got an ICE-Cap) for a Nano. So I do have a question, do you have to use a solenoid; or can it be replaced by an aquarium air pump programmed to turn on, once the pH reaches above 8.30? I am interested in building one...

@jphilip813 It might work with just an air pump. So if you had a check valve on airline that skimmer couldn't pull open but was opened by air pump psi. That might work. Wouldn't exactly be recirculating though.
