I just installed an Aqua UV sterilizer with a Sicce 2.0 pump on my Red Sea reefer. Sicce pumps are reliable but the pump is noisy/ vibration noise , my tank was always quiet. Any recommendations for a quiet/ reliable pump for a UV that has same GPH 500 - 600, maybe a DC pump?

Pump shouldn't be loud. Is it fully submerged? Is it touching glass that's carrying the vibrations?

It’s fully submerged it goes to my uv it’s transmitting vibration to the uv. I used a vinyl hose I read on here other people using a 4 inch silicone hose in between the pump and vinyl hose to get rid of the vibration/ humming noise. Ordered it from BRS should work the vinyl hose is pretty rigid.

Literally just get a jebao. I just replaced a sicce syncra dc pump with a larger jebao. The jebao makes zero noise and the smaller sicce is super loud by comparison. Just order on Amazon and return it if it's noisy. You'll thank me.

Did you ever silence your pump? I have mine mounted on the little suction cup pillars and it is super non-silent. Seeking a solution.

I have the same issue. Just put in a sicce syncra 1.5 a/c pump and can’t stand how loud it is. Also looking for a replacement. Also wondering what any of you use to pump up ato and saltwater from a basement? It is about 9’ from the bottom of my holding vessels to the top edge of the aio.

Sorry for late response haven’t logged on in a while I got a Red Sea dc pump extremely quite. I want to replace my vectra m2 return pump cause it has a slight humming noise with the new Red Sea g2 dc pump which I heard is extremely quiet
