I've been working on a design for a chain-hung lighting canopy for my 24" cube. Two Kessil A360xe's will live inside, and later, some supplemental lights. I have no problem doing the design but do not have the woodworking chops to actually make the thing. Has anyone worked with a good company that would build (and maybe paint) a custom lighting canopy to their specs?

If its going to be primarily wood, any good local carpenter can make it for you. No need for an aquarium-specific company who would likely charge you a premium. I would look around google for local furniture builders or even just an independent all-purpose carpenter.

Thanks, I’ve been searching. Haven’t found one yet.

Pinging this thread again in case anyone knows of a someone who can make a nice canopy. I haven't had any luck with local folks.
