I have a 32.5-gallon reef tank, with a back sump. I have this red hair algae in my back sump that keeps coming back even if I manually pull it off. How do you think I could get rid of it?

Red slime remover always worked great for me if you are okay with a chemical treatment. Maintaining stable parameters is important as well. What are your nutrients at?

That looks like cyano. Cyano is somewhat easy to remove. If its only in back chamber, then just remove it with a siphon.

Its red slime and you will notice in area of light and in the dark are pineapple sponges
Wipe both with a sponge- no need for chemicals and cover the area with dark plastic or similar to block light and assure your phosphate level Not elevated
