Red Sea Ca mixes muddy brown

I have just mixed up a fresh batch of RedSea A Ca powder and its a very muddy brown.....

I don't remember it being that colour? Can anyone confirm please....

This is normal or at least this is what I was told by customer service. I was worried by the exothermic reaction. Definitely don't put on a lid. The b powder is just as bad.

Part A powder gets really hot and brown, brown will settle out to bottom after a little while. The part B actually cooled down when I mixed it and its clear with a few white crystals at the bottom.

I filtered it through some kitchen roll since its going in a dosing container and I don't want a load of sludge at the bottom.
