Hi,

I am new to mixing saltwater, using redsea coral care pro. I have followed all the instruction and the water had cleared in my mixing container however once adding to the tank I have an white film on the bottom of the tank and the water is very cloudy. Just wondering what I have done wrong and if I need to empty the tank and start again. There is no livestock in the tank atm, it is an new tank startup. Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Did you use a powerhead to mix the water? How long did you mix the water for? Do you have a salinity tester? Are you using rodi water?

I used and return pump to mix it, salinity is 1.026 and yes I used rodi water
