Hi

Noob here. I have a Max e 170 from Red Sea and am currently using the stock skimmer which goes in the sump behind the display tank. I do not have the in cabinet dump upgrade.

I was wondering, does anyone have any ideas for what I could do if I wanted to upgrade the stock skimmer? Its quite loud and a major pain to clean and maintain. My problem is I don’t know which skimmers would fit in the sump as it is quite narrow. Do I need to buy a hang in the back skimmer?

Would greatly appreciate your thiughts

Cad light makes a small slimmer that is very good and fits a lot of aio. I’m going to pick it up for my new waterbox 65.4 aio
