Men teasing us without the pictures! I have been tossing around the idea of a filter roller. How do your Red Sea NanoMat+ and Red Sea Reef ATO+ Play together? My main concern is overfilling with freshwater while the filter roller is backed up (probably just overthinking it)

Depends on which tank you have. With my new Max Nano XXL, it's seemless. With my previous Max Nano G2 Cube20, it was pretty tough to make them cooperate together. The water level ends up being lower in the sump and that makes the skimmer a little louder from the extra waterfall noise. Other than that, they work very well.

The trick to get them to work well in the Cube20 is the filter media. If you have too big a bag of Chemipure or whatever, it raises the water level and kicks the Nanomat off. Once you remove some of that filter media, it works just fine (only it has a lower water level and more waterfall noise).

Where do you have your dose hoses terminating? Could you perhaps show a shot of that? I am about to layout the money for a similar system and had some questions on that particular topic.
