Equipment: Red sea reefer 170, Classic 110SSS 5" Internal Space Saving Protein Skimmer, MightyJet Midsize AIO DC Return Pump (538 GPH).

Not sure this is setup correctly. I still don't fully understand how this Aquarium works yet!

Figure A) What is the giant tube on the right? The way I have it setup, water does not go above that rim and the water inside of it looks stagnant. On the rim there is some white stuff growing that almost looks like mold. Is that normal? How does water level look?

Figure B) Does water level look okay?

Bonus footage) clownfish eggs

A) big pipe on the right is your main downpipe. The smaller middle pipe is your emergency overflow pipe.

Probably salt creep for the “mold” looking stuff. Maybe spirorbid worms.

water level should be about 1cm below the emergency overflow.

B) Sump level looks good.

How is the water getting into the main downpipe if the rim sticks out of the water? Somewhere in between or the bottom?
