I think I have it pretty much figured out. It’s such a good deal..my issue is lack of warranty as second owner. I’ve heard horror stories of Red Sea, not honoring their warranties for secondhand tanks.

I have no skin in this game but this tank is a G3 and all the previous issues with RedSea are supposedly resolved with this gen tank.

Personally Id be concerned just simply by the name but it is the newest gen tank and the issues should be resolved.

Id try to reach out directly to RedSea with the purchase info and ask them if they would be willing to transfer warranty. At least you will have it in writing and know for sure moving forward.
