Hi everyone,

Alan from Chandler here. I'm still on the fence about getting either a Red Sea Reefer 625 or 750 v3. Anyone prefer one over the other? I know bigger is usually better, but wanted to double check since I've heard some sketchy things about the 750...

I have a 625 and I know people that have the 750. If you can afford and have the space for the larger 750 go for it. The V3 has some improvements that are nice.

The advantage of the 625 over the 750 is the shorter size. This for me was why I chose it. I just didn’t have room for that 1 extra foot In length.

I will say that regardless of which tank you get keep in mind these are 24” tall and 24” wide. It’s a stretch to reach some areas. I have long arms and can reach over the edge without a stool so it’s not to much of an issue for me.

You can see my set up size wise here.
