So we're back at it again here in Denmark.. There are many things to catch up on, as life has been about everything other than saltwater aquariums for the last 12-13 years, so it's almost like starting out as a beginner 🤣😅

It was really important that the aquarium has a design that fits into our living room/TV room, so the choice fell on Red Sea Reefer..

Yes, I have read-heard-researched-etc. about the joints on Red Sea, have heard of all those who have had water on the floor and it's sad read and definitely scary, I completely understand why you don't choose Red Sea again and that you think it's a crappy aquarium..

But Red Sea sells 1000's of aquariums and there are many who still love them, including their G1.. I myself have had their old Max series and back then they were some lovely aquariums.

So I've tried to investigate things thoroughly and not just let myself be hurt by the bad cases.. (I do look at the joints daily, however)😅😅😂 I hope I don't regret it 🤞🤞

But the choice was as new as I could find, a Red sea reefer 350G2+, it's from July 2024, so about 1.5 years old when we picked it up in Germany..
I've bought as much technology as possible from Red Sea so that everything can be controlled via their app.. Works really well so far..
Since everything has to be in the closet, it's been a bit of a challenge 🤣

Technology:
- Reefled 90 - 2 pieces
- Reefskimmer dc 600 with sensor
- ReefWave 25 - 2 pieces
- Reefrun dc 7000
- Reefato + ink Reefcan 18l
- Reefmat 500
- Reefdose 4 + 2
- Aqua medic T controller 2.0
- Aqua medic helix max 2.0 37w
- Grotech cool breeze 8

Missing: Currently just waiting for Reefcontrol Pro to come out (hope I can get room on the door) 🤞

36 kilos of Fiji pink live sand and about 25-30 kilos of rock

The aquarium was started with the red sea mature starter kit on 5/5

10 bags of live pods have been dosed

Following: Fixed water change 40l every 14
days

Light: 100% blue and 10% White (23k)

Measurements I have focused on so far:
Salt - 1.025
Aik - 8.8 (currently dosing 5ml a day)
Nitrite - 0
Ammonia - 0
Nitrate - 0.30 (currently struggling to get it up a bit)
PH - 8.15
Phosphate - 0.01

Will dose - Red sea complete 4 part when corals need it and nopox and Reef energy ab+
