I picked up this tank on April 26th 2019. Currently the stock in the tank is 3 clownfish, foxface rabbitfish, mandarin, copperband butterfly, lawnmower blenny, and a damsel. The mandarin and the CBB both actively feed on frozen foods and pellets. I plan to add a few tangs that I previously owned a few years ago. The person I sold them to may be getting out of the hobby. I am about to place a large coral order within the next few days. The plan is for the right side of the tank to be dominated by euphyllia species which will progress to SPS closest to the overflow. I placed all the wavemakers on the overflow side. I hope they will provide enough flow throughout the tank long term. If not, I will move one to the end panel.

So far it’s working well. No complaints. I will add the apex ATO solenoid and another optical sensor/mechanical float switch in the future as I’ve overflowed my ATO twice now

Finally got some coral in there. Still on the hunt for an apex DOS for the cabinet as I plan to use the trident in the future

Hmm guess the pics didn’t upload. Haven’t found a DOS yet so I settled on a kamoer F4 for now. Great dosing Pump is anyone is looking. On another note, if you know anyone selling an apex DOS let me know. Will be adding a harlequin tusk into the system here shortly.

Here’s another update pic. Added more sps to the system that have been doing well. Bought back a few of my fish from the last system I shut down. The new additions include the purple tang, sailfin tang, and blue tang.

I guess here is the 1 year update on the current system. I recently decided to add a second reefer 650 to the other side of the room.
The twin build will be very similar but running AI gear instead of Ecotech. Currently filling with RODI water

Sorry, I never saw this message. The second tank was setup and running until I decided to sell all gear and livestock and restart. I switched out the AI lights and went with ATI sunpower 8 bulb that I spray painted white to match the tank. I plan to focus on sps within both tanks and have since sold all my LPS corals. The original tank I added a t5 hybrid unit to reduce shadowing. The sps are growing in nicely so far!

I guess I never did close out this thread. The tank ran for 3 years. I have since shut it down but am planning an upgrade to a single 450 gallon here soon. Here is some sps eye candy for the finale.
