Hello everyone,

I just purchased a Red Sea Reefer 200XL. The silicon tubing does not work with my Vectra M2.

The Vectra M2 Barb is 1 inch. I'd like to increase the size of the plumbing to match the Vectra output.

Can anyone confirm that these are the components I will need? Will the 3/4x1 barb linked be a direct replacement for the one included with the Red Sea?

3/4 x 1 inch Barb

1 inch vinyl tubing

2x 1 inch ratchet clamp for each end of the tubing

As a follow-up question -

Is there any benefit to increasing this size to 1 inch if it's dropping back down to 3/4 once it reaches the bulkhead?

To make things easier, should I just use 3/4 all the way (I currently have a 3/4 barb for my M2 and was planning on ordering the 1 inch to make it work).

Thanks!
