Hello, Well I'm assembling a XL425 and have a few questions.
First is the tank supposed to hang over the cabinet in the front?
Second the stand pipes are tight I get 1 revolution and its tight and will require channel locks to fully tighten, also should the seal ring be lubed?
Any thoughts or experience?

Hey Siggy! Ok, question one: if the tank is flush with the back and the sides of the stand... YES the tank will hang over the front until you close the doors, then it will be flush. Two: For the stand pipes, you are talking about the pipes in the rear weir area right? They have 2 sets of threads, the top threads have at the top of them a set of ratchets.. when you get it screwed down you can grab the pipe underneath inside the cabinet and screw it down until it ratchets, which HOLDS the pipes in place. You don't have to lube them.
I have the E-260 and LOVE it!

thanks, I hand tighten but only was able to get one rev and will need channel locks to get the 4 or 5 revs to seat and I really don't want to tear up the O/F pipes BTW not sure if I have the ratchets you mention.
the lube was for the O-ring.

There are a couple good videos on you tube showing how to install the overflow pipes.
