Red Serpent star losing color

I’ve had this baby about a year now and purchased a “large” one. I’ve noticed over the last week or so the disk is increasingly losing color more each day. Target feed him 3X a week and he did not take last nights feeding. All arms look great. Any idea what’s going on?
