I have a 75, with a custom 55 sump and I’d love to keep a lobster in the refugim compartment. It’s around 30 gallons. I saw a red spiny lobster at the LFS, it was bright red and about 3.5” long. Probably the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. Does anyone have any info on these? Or recommendations for a better candidate?

Probably the same care and behavior as other reef lobsters; keep well-fed with plenty of hiding spaces and it'll do fine.

Thanks,

Reading other threads about reef lobsters I'm guessing meaty foods such as scallops, clams, shrimp, etc. offered every 2-3 days is a good regimen.

Thanks,
