Red string Algae on new frag

I just purchased 2 new frags, a Duncan coral and mushroom. I am noticing the plugs have a red string looking algae on them. I’m not sure what this is but I assume it’s algae. Is this something I should be concerned with ? Tank is 6 months old. Zero ammonia nitrite and phosphate. Everything looks ok but I’m concerned this could become an issue. Anything be concerned about?

I would take a small brush like a toothbrush and dip the brush in peroxide and scrub only the algae. Careful not to get peroxide on the coral.

Do you have enough flow? Maybe use a turkey baster and gently blow it off. Also leathers do shed from time to time. Is it closed? Start your own thread an uplaod a picture for more eyes to help you.

Thank you! It is the flow problem! I adjusted my wave maker, and the algae is off the leathers
