Have had RPE's for over 6 months now this is happening. Good flow, lights are T5's on 12 hrs/day. MH on for 6 hrs/day.
1.025
pH 8.3
Ca 400ish
Mg 1400ish
KH 7.5ish
temp 77-78f
no nitrates,nitrites
no phos
no amon

can't figure this one out.....

could it be due to the fact that i run lunars all night long?
could it be that i soak my filter sock in bleach to kill out the junk when i rotate them out every 2.3 days? then rinse it out with cold water for 5 mins before i replace in the sump?

any suggestions here? losing some pretty sweet z&p's to this, but only the RED ones!!!!!! odd.

have you tried moving them to a shaded area to see if they react differently. For what ever reason it looks like they are trying to get away from the light.. hiding skirts under polyps..
Look at the fes on the sides.. not directly on top they seem to be extended evenly.
