I am very excited. My wife just bought me a Redsea 350. I can not wait to start this build when the tank comes in Saturday. It will be my first large tank build. In the past I had a 29G NanoCube and I started a 50G tank but had to get rid of it. I will start posting more as I get the build started.

I got the tank in today and started setting it up. Hooked up all the equipment. Added sand and live rock. Will be adding water tomorrow and start cycling.

Lookin good. Aquascape is sweet. Just a tip. I know yku have already coughed up alot of scratch for this tank but you might want to start an algae scrubber pronto. Helps bypass ugly phase and keep nuisance algae out of tank.

Is putting Chaeto in a empty chamber of my sump with a light considered an Algae scrubber? If so should I put it before my skimmer or after my skimmer?

So the tank is doing good. Just tested water and it ready to add some fish to help cycle. Went to the LFS with my wife and she found a couple green chromis that she really likes. Acclamation started. Will have some pictures up later. After that I'll wait a little bit and get some clowns.

Well the ugly has just started. I know its part of the cycle and trying to do too much can bite me in the butt. I am going to start lookup up cleanup crews now that I have some stuff to feed them but not sure if it is still too early, what I should get, or how much I should get. Any recommendations or advice is always appreciated.

Well the ugly has really kicked in. Going to do my first water change Friday. I have also started messing with my phone to get better pictures. I found an app that does pretty well. I just need to play with it more

So I just found out that the area before my return pump has a wall that is adjustable. I was having issues with my RSK300. It kept filling with water and not skimming properly. After looking at a few threads on here I found out that I had the water level too high in the skimmer area. Apparently there is a sticker on the skimmer that shows where the water level should be to skim properly. I was going to get a riser because it was still to high after adjusting the water flow. That is when I found out the wall could be slid down or up to change the water level in the area. Once I lowered the wall a bit I was able to get it at the appropriate water level. So now I just need to see if it will start skimming properly and hopefully help with the cycling.

Just got my second Reefwave 25 and installed it into the tank over the weekend. Did another water change and had my water tested. All parameters are great and the tank is cycled. I added a couple Davinic clowns over the weekend also.
