Hi all,

Current set up redsea reefer 170

No skimmer
Aquamedia reactor running carbon and rowaphos
Rubble rock biofiltration
Miracle mud
Redsea led 50
Nero 5

I have just upgraded from a smaller tank and really didn't want to buy a new light ultimate goal being acropora dominant with that in mind I brought the scape to the light, settings at the moment is 20 percent white 70 percent blue that puts me at 15k I will acclimatise over a few weeks to 50 percent white 100 percent blue as I dont want to stress the lps out, hopefully they can take the par? Top of the scape is about 10cm down #wishihadaparmeter. Do you think this light can grow acros.

That light will for sure grow acros, but also smoke your LPS. Par meter really is your only way to tell. It's quite surprised when I took actual readings from my Red Sea lamps.

Mine is at 76% blue 10% white rn on my Max Nano and seems to be keeping my very mixed reef happy. Tank can be seen on insta @Nanoreefnyc . Colors may be more of the issue, I've been debating upgrading to radions since the acros can definitely look better than they do.
