Redsea reefmat 500 v bubble magus g2 small

So I had a g2 small for 12 months and still struggled with nitrates.
I put a RS reefmat 500 in yesterday and no3 has dropped 8ppm in a day.
Feeding has not changed.
They have same width roll but reef may roll grade is less?

What are you measuring with? Maybe measure over a couple of days and trend it - interesting how big a difference it makes!

Personally, I don't use socks or rollers - just a fuge, so it's always enlightening hearing other experiences. :cool:

Always is a long time, about six months like this :-)

Just had my ICP results this morning with zero phosphates. Guess it's doing too well..
