Fact #95

Corallimorpharians, such as Ricordea Florida and Yuma are know to most hobbyist as mushroom corals or disc anemones. They exist in a weird area of the taxonomy, and the debate weather they are corals or anemones still stands.

Are mushroom corals anemones? The debate goes on.


Truth or False? What else might we need to learn on this subject? Please also share any pictures that may pertain to the subject. ;)

Ricordea share the same phylum, class and subclass but then it stops at the order. In which anemones have the order actiniaria and Ricordia have the order corallimorpharia.
