One bulb would cover your tank very well, and with only 11" of water, you will get about 250 par at the bottom, so be sure to dim these at first. As for what kind, the bridgelux version would do quite well, and the violet LEDs create a really awesome color. If you want a little more power, go for the cree version, which is about 30% brighter, but has less color variation.Yes im sort of new to the whole LED lights im usually a die hard halide or compact guy but i love the look of the par 38 bulbs. i was wanting to know how many bulbs and what kind would i need to do a sps/lps nano tank that is only 13" tall, 13" width, and 11 1/2" depth? I thought they would look great with this rimless nano i have.
Our bulbs are in the 14-20k range already, with the colors, they are a 2:1 color&royal blue to cool white. You can order one from our site here: reefbreeders or you can shoot me a pm, and I will send a paypal invoice.Do you have a bulb that mimics 20K and if so how do i go about the purchase?
No, warm whites will discolor your coral and make them look pastel. To get the red spectrum, we have a red LED in the bulb.Wow this light's awesome! Do you do warm white instead of cool white?
