I have a 72" tank and was looking to add some LED's to my system and ran across a good deal on a set of 36" reefbrite LED's (all blue)...

was wondering if anyone is useing these and if so how do you like um??

Ive always been a powerbrite guy but would need like 6 more to fully light my display...how do the reef brites compair??

Thanks
Ed

i have both (and some others). reefbrites have the best coverage and are the best overall value imo. powerbrites are extremely "spotlighty" by comparison.

cheers!

One 24 inch bar lights about 3/4 of my 30x30x24 well the hole thing is lit but not fully. I love mine doesnt do a ton with the lights on but once they go out WOW things glow and it makes the tank so much more interesting because of all the nocturnal activity.

Dont forget to post pictures of your corals when you get the light:wink:

Would a 48in. reefbrite be to much for my 40 gal long.48-13-16?

I have 2 reef brite 30" on my 65 and will be putting them on my 125. they are really nice. one of the best light choices I have made in a long time. All blues.

Would 2 36" units spread enough for just actinic supplemenation on a 4'x4' tank with a 20" tall canopy?

the 2 all blues would do just fine for sup lighting.

I run an all blue 36" reefbrite for supp and I gotta say i'm very happy with them..... you can really notice the difference once you have em if you turn them off:tongue:
