I currently have a Current LED strip/fixture for supplemental actinic lighting before and after my main lights come on.

The Reef Brite Lumi Lite Pro is getting a lot of attention lately.

What is the basic difference between the Pro and the XHO?

I’m leaning towards the Actinic Blue XHO, but what am I missing with the newest Pro lights that are available next week?

Thanks Larry. I sent him my question. I’ll let you know what he says.

I believe BRS made new videos regarding the difference between the 2, and if I remember correctly, the XHO is superior base on spectrum and par output. You can check out their video to make sure

Never owned the XHO but if memory serves the Pro runs at about half the wattage of the XHO.

Depending on what you want you can get more bang for the buck going the DIY route.

“The XHO's are designed primarily for larger deeper tanks. Not only does the XHO use larger LED's, optically it behaves differently than the Lumi Lite Pro due to the different LED'S used and specialized reflector.”

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
