This looks great and you've obviously been giving it much thought and planning. Love how it's coming together! You don't happen to mention in your post, but do you have an adequate test kit? I find that regular testing and keeping a log of the parameters is a great way to understand what is going on when things don'g (ahem) go to plan.

I bet you're really going to enjoy working on and looking at this setup as the years go by. Best of luck!

I am using Salifert test kits
my next decision comes down to continuing
using my filter socks continuously or intermittently
or not at all, going all in with a roller mat

Your tank looks amazing. I started my clownfish Harem in Oct of 21 with 12 clowns of different varieties all juveniles. Unfortunately after about a year I was down to just a mated pair of clowns. I think the problem was that the tank wasn't mature enough to sustain the BTA's and thus the clowns didn't have enough distractions to avert aggression. I eventually removed the clown pair and introduced 10 orange storm clowns. Now roughly 1 year in all 10 are still in the tank and the group has sorted itself into the dominate pair and 8 smaller juveniles. My best suggestion is BTA's and heavy feeding.

I put the 12 clowns on July 1 and everyone has been getting along, with no dominant behavior. I just put in some BTAs last week and now one of the bigger clowns has become dominant, chasing the others, some of the others have been doing the shimmery toward her. A few of the others are taking an interest in each other also. They haven't shown any interest in the BTAs until this morning, three have shown different levels of interest in one of the Anemones

LOL, So frustrating watching them waiting for them to finally DIVE IN! Mine took forever to discover the BTA's then only the dominate pair were allowed to enjoy them. Now slowly their allowing others in occasionally. Fascinating fish with the dominance roles.

Quick update, 5 they have grown larger than the others of the 11 (can't find one) and have bonded together as a group and found the anemones, it was like a light switch was turned on. The outcast 6 are harassed with different levels of aggression toward different fish, with more aggression toward the smaller ones.
