reef crystals texture

i've bought a number of buckets of Reef Crystals over the past year and all of the salt texture seemed to be consistent. it was all powdery/with some slight grain to it. the last bucket I received seemed to be very powdery. Almost to the same consistency of Baking Flour. there is some grainy texture to it, but not much at all. It had me concerned, but I tested the water using this salt, and all the parameters checked out. I used it on my last water change, and will be using the same bucket on my next water change in the next few days. water parameters all checked out so I don't think I should be too concerned, but that powdery mixture has me a little concerned.

has anyone else received different powder consistencies over time?

I hope someone has these buckets of RC on sale around Black Friday. I'd like to buy some more. right now, I've been getting them one at a time, as needed.

Interesting - salt dust instead of salt crystals? There could be variation from bucket to bucket, but did it mix up with a comparable ratio of salt to water to achieve your desired salinity?

I got the same thing. The new buckets are more powdery then crystals.
