Reef Moonshiners - Iron Supplement is Green

last year when I used Reef Moonshiners for Iron the liquid wasnt a bright green, unless I am misremembering. I used some today and notices it was a neonish green.

Anyone familiar with this? Is it possible for iron supplements to go bad if stored in dry warm areas?

No bacterial films noticed on the bottom of the bottle.

Iron and other trace metals often change colors depending on what is bound to them. It may just be they changed the chemical form slightly.

Two super common and cheap forms, ferrous sulfate and ferrous chloride are both green in solution.

A green solution would not concern me. It’s a small concern that it changed compared to the past, but they may have just changed the firm.

This bottle is likely 6+ months old never opened and kept in the dark but the garage can get hot.
