Hi all, newbie to Saltwater......
I purchased a Reef Octopus 2000 recently and it has been working great. But when I shut the unit down for any
reason and then power it back up I have to remember to twist the cap of the breather tube or it would overflow.
if I kept the cap off it would seem that it would fill the cup up rather quickly. I am concerned about power outages
as we move into winter and was wondering, should I leave the cap off the tube or am I missing something I should be doing??

I got them both, checked you tube and seen this one being used more than the other one in the link. I just twist the cap off. I have since taken the cap off and raised the cup a bit, that seems to have helped but only time will tell.
