To change pump speeds with a Varios skimmer pump do I need to use pump profiles or can I use percentages like with COR pumps like this:

Set 80
If FeedA 000 Then 40

@SuncrestReef so I use the VDM module to program percentages with my Reef Octo pump and use an EB832 to monitor power with the same pump?
If the pump’s power cord is plugged into the EB832, then it can be monitored for watts or amps on that output. The VDM connection is just a control signal sent to the pump’s controller to specify the speed.

Read my tutorial on Apex Power Monitoring for details:

@SuncrestReef so do I do any coding on the VDM channel at all? Or just on the EB832 and the energy bar sends a control signal through the VDM module?
