I recently pulled the impeller out of my reef octopus skimmer and found that the needle wheel and the body somehow came apart At the red arrow. The impeller is still in 1 piece but the needle wheel seems to just spin there freely and its noisy as hell. I was wondering if anyone knows if there's anything Reef safe I can use to glue it in place or do I just get a new one. Thanks for the help.

I would just call them, with anything spinning, extra weight will throw the balance off long term. Glue may work for a while, but their support is fantastic and usually can get you any part you need. I've ordered random bearings which they don't usually sell, and with my pump upgrade they threw those in. They're just stellar support, so don't hesitate to pick up the phone or just write.

I agree with the above comment. Super glue will work for a while or even jb weld but give reff octopus or coralvue a call they will likely hook you up

Thanks for the advice. I will contact coral vue asap. In the meantime I'm gonna attempt to glue it down with some super glue gel.
