This is a Reef Octopus Classic 1000 Hang-on-Back Protein Skimmer for an aquarium. I used it for about 6 months and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, I upgraded the tank and this just won't work on the new setup. I'd like to recoup at least some of the cost.
From Bulk Reef Supply: Hang on Back skimmer with the pump mounted externally under the skimmer body. Unique design reduces heat exchanged to the water. Easy removal of the pump for cleaning and maintenance. Powered by one Aquatrance 1000 pump with improved venturi design and pinwheel impeller. Built with high-quality acrylic.
It's been out of the water since August.
This skimmer really did a great job. It was easy to set up, maintain, and clean. Awesome skim produced quickly. A few microbubbles were in the tank but a sponge (which I'd be happy to include) helped a lot.
Well Stocked Tank - Rated up to 55 gallons
Medium Stocked Tank - Rated up to 75 gallons
Light Stocked Tank - Rated up to 100 gallons
