Hello! I have an Avast Marine kalk stirrer that I plan to integrate into my reef system. Because of limited space, it will need to sit in the sump of my Red Sea Reefer 170. I’ve heard that over time these stirrers can develop minor leaks around the base, so I’m looking to reinforce it by sealing the outer base with a reef-safe adhesive.

What reef-safe sealant or glue would be a good choice that I can pick up from Home Depot?

Sounds like you want to add a layer on top of the joint. The best way to do that would be to get some casting resin. Use some tape to build a dam around where the cylinder goes into the base and fill in that with resin.
Cheap messy way is to use Weldon 16

Yep, that’s the plan! Weldon 16 is reef safe?

Yes once dry. It’s like model airplane glue in a tube
