It must take a lot of dedication to keep that back panel so clean.

Yes the calcium hog (giant derasa clam) is pretty big. About 11 inches now. I keep saying he's getting too big but my wife says he's the coolest part of the tank. She might be right as it's probably the most commented on by people who come by to see the tank!

Cleaning the back panel is easy for me. Behind the tanks and open room and the black panels are held on with magnets. I can easily remove them and scrape the back like anyone scrapes the front.
