Out of nowhere, my reef tank turned to a milky cloudy water. It has two clownfish a few zoas and a hammer. I just added a tiger watchman Gobi yesterday

If you have an alternative air pump I would use it. Run a skimmer if you have one as well just in case it's a bacterial bloom. Run some charcoal if you have it.
How old if the tank?
Did you dose any products?

It’s maybe 3-4 weeks old finished it’s cycle at 2 , just topped off a gallon with a little bit of water treater

I’m also currently running a skimmer, I do have a air pump but it makes it more cloudy

Did you use live rock to establish the tank?

How large is the tank?

Before adding any more corals or fish perhaps wait a couple weeks. Allow the bacterial filter to catch up.

Bacterial blooms can utilize the available oxygen there by depleting O2 levels leading to hypoxia for tank inhabitants.

Plenty of live rock, it’s a 40 breeder

This was out of the blue, the only issues I’ve had so far was a diatoms

It's not uncommon in new tanks. You are feeding fish, fish metabolize that food and produce ammonia via waste and respiration. The tank has not yet established enough nutrifying bacteria to process the new bio-load.
The goby could be disturbing the sandbed, but to me it doesn't look like suspended particulate matter.

The goby just did dig a burrow , but it doesn’t seem like that either

It was perfectly clear this morning too

Hopefully I am either wrong and or the cloudiness resolves spontaneously as quickly as it appeared. 🙂
At this point testing ammonia might be misleading after the addition of the water conditioner.
